Our children are our future leaders. I take responsibility to make sure they have access to every opportunity available to them to live, play and grow into their full potential.

Life is precious and as a mother I can't imagine burying my children.

I don't want to reduce violence because to many people get shot daily and there is soo many school shootings and you don't need need to cause violence you need to handle the problem like a good person

The death of a child is a tremendous loss that no family should have to experience

Out there our other ways then violence, plus we have to pass the torch down to build our communities back up.

We are losing too many of our children from senseless murders

It’s heartbreaking for the younger youth and also for innocent people who have nothing to do with violence

Everyone deserves a chance to become who God ultimately designed them to be. We each have purpose intended to make this world a better place for all.

Losing a child is a tremendous loss

Because I lost my son to gun violence in 2023. It remains unsolved and no mother should have to bury their child. Killed in his home.

I have children I want to protect and even other children need adult protection and guidance

One life cut short by violence is too many. And the affects of each loss are far reaching, no friend or family member should have to bare that lifelong grief.

I live in this city and I think it's important for us all to do what we can do to make this city a better place to live.

My son was murdered 5/25/25.

I would not encourage or condone or participate in anything that has to do with any violence

Because I list my son 14 years ago to home invasion his case us unsolved I don't want another mother to feel the pain I feel every day.

My oldest and only son was murdered in 2009 Anthony "Fatz" Sowers II by someone with six gun charges prior to killing my son. I took my pain and organized prevention programs to help decrease our crime in our city with several different organizations and non-profits. Be Blessed and volunteer your time to help with keeping our neighborhoods safe in our great city of Columbus, Ohio.
