Our children are our future leaders. I take responsibility to make sure they have access to every opportunity available to them to live, play and grow into their full potential.

I lost my son to violence and I do not want another mother to suffer the unimaginable loss like I have.

because a violent city is a fearful, hateful, unliveable city.

Everyone deserves to move through the world without fear.

I don't want teens to die without growing up and getting time to view the world more positively .

Out there our other ways then violence, plus we have to pass the torch down to build our communities back up.

By deepening our understanding, practicing compassion, striving for inclusive justice, and meeting people's needs where they are, I believe we can all play a part in creating a safe and secure environment where everyone can pursue their dreams, contribute to the community without fear, and know that their well-being is a shared priority.

120 people die of gun violence every day in this country and the leading cause of death for children and teens is gun violence. Who are we as a nation if we don’t do everything in our power to stop this predictable and preventable epidemic. Not one more!

Nothing is going to change unless we come together and do something to stop it. Let's fight for what we believe in and stop the violence.

I am so tired of seeing these young men and women dying.

I am tired of seeing young lives being taking so soon and I had a chance to live a full life and to enjoy life the way they were meant to be. Since my son has been taken away from me I always wanted to do something to help the next person not go through the pain that I have gone through

Feeling safe is human right that the whole community must work to preserve.
