Our children are our future leaders. I take responsibility to make sure they have access to every opportunity available to them to live, play and grow into their full potential.

I am so tired of seeing these young men and women dying.

One life cut short by violence is too many. And the affects of each loss are far reaching, no friend or family member should have to bare that lifelong grief.

I'm committed to reducing violence in our city because I have lost a lot of family members due to the violence in our city. It needs to stop right now!!!

We deserve a community where we feel safe and our children are allowed to thrive! Where mothers don’t have to feel the pain of losing a child to violence that can be prevented. We Are The Change!

The youth needs to see what a positive Lightner can be and they also need to see there is so much more to life than the streets

It means a lot to me to give back to the city I was born and raised in and now I am in a position to give back.

I have three daughters who are growing up in the city of Columbus

I don't want it to happen to anybody that I love

I want to make sure that no other families have to endure the pain of grief like my family has experienced from my brother’s murder. We need to have compassion, understanding, and unity in fighting this growing disease in our community.
